In addition, it reviews formulaic expressions including: How are you? What are you called? How old are you? Students discuss sports and mascots in Spanish speaking countries.
This workbook is recommended for students in 2nd grade after completing "¿Qué comes?" workbook (first semester of the school year).
There are two short stories in the workbook with illustrations that allow students to practice reading Spanish. Furthermore, there are several formats of written activities throughout the workbook, including a blank space where the students can draw and write the stories created in class. As part of a cultural activity, the students will craft a bull and discuss the importance of soccer in the Spanish-speaking world.
